Joann have you ever made the checkerboard slippers? I have a pattern but would love to see them made up in a tutorial.

      Hi there.
I have not in a while.
I might consider a tutorial on that.
Would there be any stitches you would like to learn?
      Thanks!

I am trying the Trinity Stitch that you have on Youtube. What type of yarn did you use and what size of needles? I am having problems getting the same “puffy” look so I am thinking the right yarn type/needles will help.

    Thanks,

    Brenda, St.Louis.

Hi Joanne! I took your crochet 101 during this last summer. I was checking the catalog through NISD for whats available during the fall and all I saw was another beginner course. Would it be beneficial to sign up for that one or should I wait and see if another one comes available, like an ‘intermediate’? Thanks!

      Hi Emily.
Please take the course again. It will be also helpful to others to see what they can make. I will make sure to take projects for you. Maybe a shrug? Neat!!! It would also be interesting for you to learn the Tunisian stitch.
      Be well.

    hi Joanne,
Where can I find the written instructions for knitted beanie hat quick and easy (holiday freebie)?

Hello Joanne – I have just discovered your knitted wash cloth tutorial on YouTube and have copied the instructions that are part of the video description. I am a brand new knitter, and i am thinking “i can do this!” However, i would love to have the downloadable instructions, but they seem to have disappeared from your website, Would you be willing to send them via a private message? Thank you so much, and best wishes for the holiday season.

Love, love love your beanie. I am a beginner and am making hats that my friends and family love. Thanks. To make the hat wider, i should add increments of 6?
